About the project manager training programme

On the project management course, you will learn the fundamental principles and tools required to manage and deliver projects effectively and successfully, whilst also having the opportunity to practise and develop your leadership skills.

 

What you will be able to do upon completion

  • Manage projects in line with the organisation’s objectives, the specific project’s goals, stakeholders, resources and other conditions.
  • Develop your own project management practice – either as a project  or a project team member.
     

What you’ll gain

  • apply relevant theory and methodology to the planning and monitoring of projects in practice
  • work with project stakeholders, including communicating with and managing their influence
  • assess, justify and select relevant project management tools in relation to the organisation’s situation
  • communicate issues and solutions, including project budgets, risks and milestones
  • develop your own practice and reflect on the choice of project management model, project implementation and the ongoing adaptation of plans.
     

The project management programme concludes with a project management examination, which awards you a diploma-level certificate in project management worth 5 ECTS credits.

Practical information

4 course days + exam day: A 4-day in-person course, plus guidance on the exam assignment. The course concludes with a written assignment followed by an oral exam. The course is supported by a digital learning platform where you can find articles, videos and models, all of which will enhance your learning experience.

 

Venue: Aarhus Business Academy – Ringvej Syd 104 – 8260 Viby J – The Gold Building

 

Classes run from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. You will be sent a login card before the course starts, giving you access to the LMS system/Canvas, where you can access teaching materials. On the first day of the course, you will be given a book and other materials.

 

The next intake starts on 25th of September 2026.
